Nope, no screw holes on mine

Cheers for looking... I will have a look on mine, next time I get a chance, as I was doing something else at the time, and briefly got distracted but an area just down the pillar, about 100mm or so, bent to a different angle, with a hole in the middle, and I wondered what may have been designed to mount there, and hazarded a guess at the handle, but didn't really think much more about it as it was cold and threatening to rain, so I just wanted to get it all back together.

Companies charge £120 + vat to sort the Magneti Marelli dash pod LCD fault.

You can repair this yourself, but it's not a job for the faint hearted.

been putting this off on mine but now i need to replace a bulb so i will assess how big a job it is.
a good whack on top of the dash sorts mine out for a while.
had the mot tester in stitches when he said he could not record the milage so i showed him how.:lol

When you remove your dash (pretty easy job) try pressing the back of the display unit, it should go straight back to normal.
This is what my one did, so I packed the back of the binnacle out so when I screwed the dash back in, it put pressure on the back of the clocks, it worked for some time on mine.

Yes, if you squeeze the pod together it will show correct display.

There is only one way to cure it. Remove the old solder from the dry joints and then re-solder the connections.

These are the pins from the LCD display panel that go through the PCB. (Printed circuit board) They need to be re-soldered.
