Nice part of the country, we had a holiday a few years ago near Quimper, we caught a ferry to Roscoff, so passed quite close to your area.

Quimper is 25 mins from us, did you go into the old town, or go to Concarneau?

We stayed at Guilvinec and visited Quimper old town, lovely place with lovely buildings.
We did visit Concarneau, but I don't remember to much about it

Removed the maf this morning and swapped it for the one off the 2000 LWB,which I know is OK.
No change!,so it's not the maf !

Another stormy day so no work today so when't out and connected the white SWB up to the ECUTalk, as i have finally got the old laptop i bought for this purpose up and running. Anyway, the fault codes read,No faults detected.
But as you can see form the screen shot With the car running, Throt V is moving round as I press the pedal. But Throt RLYA is not moving.
So what would this suggest ?:nenau

Would it be possible to keep your lappy connected and do a short run with ecu talk running? I found when I did this it gave a clearer picture of what was/ wasn't happening. My logs are stored somewhere if I can find them we could compare.

i will connect our car up later and see to get a comparrision i managed to get a lead for the consult unit to connect it via USB so now works on any laptop.

could you get a clearer photo so i can see what the control sleeve position is i need to set mine up but didnt have ecu or consult prior to repairing my pump

thanks

Which cable do you have? I have heard there are two types, the consult I and the consult II
I Have the Pre 2001 14pin unit. I think after 2001 they changed the connector and that is consult II

I looked at your video...as you a bit shaky!
There is one signal I could not see clearly, "The IDLE switch" it should swing between 0 and 1 (on-off) full scale when the throttle is moved off its idle position.. then the throttle position becomes valid.

i bought this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271349531073?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

and this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261310267546?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

and can connect it to our 14 pin connector and run ECU talk as ray sugessted it gives live data and reads and clears fault codes however when alex came around with his T2 he has the later 16 pin socket under the dash so couldnt connect it up

having the usb means i can run it on any pc/laptop
Can't get the second link , but I guess its the consult unit. I got a serial port to usb and tryed to run it on windows 7 but got a message saying it could cause damage to the hard drive, that's why i got the old dell and loaded XP And works fine, I think it as something to do with the driver, and i don't mean me lol:lol
