Just got back from a weekend of laning and camping in the lake district.
Met up with Paultrol and Banshee and hit some of the lesser used lanes for an epic adventure.
Here's a selection of pics i took:thumb2

Looks nice up there. I would love to visit some time to try some lanes and enjoy that scenery :)

Not everyone’s cup of tea camping at this time of year but I love it, toastie warm in the sleeping bag:thumbs

plenty of warm clothes and a good sleeping bag all made for a pleasant few days away.

Tent heater?
looks like a good trip.

Yes I picked up on that, in the 70's when I was trucking abroad, I had a catalytic distilled petrol cab heater, it certainly kept the chill off, not like the derv burners but it was cheap, Rick

looks like a good trip.

Iv'e got a little campa electric fan heater for the main tent and a small butane heater for the front porch extension.
Plus the double burner propane cooker if i need it for a bit of extra warmth.

Yorkshire Dales is beautiful too. Could it be regular meets? Plenty of scope for locations in this country of ours.
