OK guys and girls,
Who has one and are they any good.
If so what are they good for?
I was looking at them and i like a gadget or two and i would really like to see one in action before buying one or two.

Lets drag Alex into this conversation, he has fitted one recently, and as such, should be able to advise how well it works after a few months.:thumb2

I have two front and rear 42" off of ebay and are just awesome! Don't bother with halogen lights just get led light bar there is no comparison look at my build thread

Bigbunny has one, ive still got a funny pattern in my eyes lol. Very impressive but I'd like to see them in the dark.

I have a few... 2 on the back, one on the roof, and one on the front bull bars... Best thing ever... I would never waste money on a set of halogen lights again...

The rear ones are alternate Yellow/White LED's, so they act as reversing/work lights, and also Yellow Beacons via a WigWag relay.

The top front ones are fantastic, and the lower ones are now good, but I had to do some work on them to get the beam right, as they were pretty crap when I got them. To be fair, they only cost £40 from China... While I had them apart, I added a few extra marker LED's...

To give you an idea of the light output....

Just the dipped head lights.

Wowow!!
That's crazy!
What wattage are your ones??

The big one on the roof, which is the one alight in the picture is 240W with 19200 Lumens.

I have had it nearly 2 years, and I still grin when I flick up to main beam...

One simply have to love these LED bars! Easy to mount, light weight and durable. Am wishing to get one myself.

I don't suppose you have a link for where you bought that beast from?

Unfortunately, I got mine from a guy who bought some back from the states, and sold them on ebay, about 2 years ago, and has not sold any more for over a year.

240watts that's a hell of a lot of current, must need some heavy duty relays and wiring.

It's only 20amp... even the cheap relays are 30amp, although I got 45amp ones.

As I originally had 4 spots on a roof bar, with the wish (pre LED light bar) to go up to 6, plus the LED marker lights, so I used a 7pin waterproof connector on the roof, each pin rated at 10 amps. I used 7 core high current trailer cable up to the socket, with each wire feeding a single spot light. When I fitted the LED bar, I just wired the 6 together in parallel, so have potential 60 amps available.

This is most informative!

Those L.E.D. bars are awsome, Im gonna have to go down to the street corner and turn a few tricks to make the money for a couple and some wiring and relays now!!!

Oh no.. it's going to take a while to get the money then...:lol

if we could get some definates on the ordering side i can put it to our friends in china or taiwan and see what sought of deal we can do.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/42-240W-L...ar-Boat-4WD-/201424754221?hash=item2ee5d9d62d
so the max price would be their asking price of £67.99 (hopefully we wont get import duty).
Anything less would be a bonus.
so who is up for it and how many.

Do be careful, you want Cree LED's, as the ones from China I got were not anywhere near as good as my top light.

This is more what you need to be looking at.
