Found a nice terrano 2.7 swb 1997 with 75 k on clock only thing is that on full lock when going over a bit of a bump it gives a horrible knock noise as it drops of the bump, other than that when it is at full lock it is fine just the bump. The terrano is in a garage at 2k and the only thing putting me of it is that noise, whats your opinion on the noise and price

Steering stops 2 each side, grease them job fixed. Common problem.

totally agree with Rustic-steering stops. amazingly a blob of cheap grease fixed it for me, and that was about 4 or 5 month ago.

That's a classic symptom of dry, i.e. not greased, steering stops, as Rustic suggests. It happens when the lower parts of the steering mechanism contacts the steering stop on each side of the suspension and grates/knocks, sounding quite alarming. There are previous threads on the subject, one suggesting a cure which I have used. Cut a short piece of strong garden hose and force it over each steering stop then fill the exposed end of the hose with grease. Its cheap and works very well and avoids having to buy the expensive Nissan plastic steering stop caps that wear out and fall of in a very short time.
No opinion on the price of the truck.
