if you are useing them on your daily driver ie motorways and the such i would personely not use them had a set of colway muds on a disco fantastic off road but on road noisey and twitchy in the wet reduces fuel consumption
if wanting them for offroading why not get a spare set of rims on ebay and stick a set on them::nenau
cheers Andy

just buy my kl71s

very good road manners, work well offroad.

i think all muds are shocking in the wet, remold or premium tyre as its mostly air not rubber in contact with the road :D

KL71s are top tyres for a mud terrain . Brilliant road manners as they actually hold the road under braking :D:thumbs

'cause they're not avail in my size any more :p Gone on to Simex now, but wouldn't use them on the road much:eek:
Fez wanted to go up a size too and couldn't get what he wanted in them either:doh

I was running 305/70/16s ( that's 33 in old money ish ) but none available anywhere. There are some avail on 15s but not sure how available :nenau but generally short supply :(
My tyre size now mate are 35 x 12.5 x 15s but they're coming off this weekend in favour of Simex 35s on 16 rims, the Simex is actually about 36.5" in real life :clap:naughty

Jesus THAT'S HUGE !!

so I'm better sticking with 16" wheels ?

Ie keep my stock 02 sport rims and space out the rears ?

stock rims are 6.5 inches wide ish. pete is running on 10 inch wide, but ideally you want a minimum of 8 inches wide just to get up to bigger tyres .

this is my work truck and daily driver tho, so i need a balance, which i guess would be 265/75 16 on standard ?

the best is two sets , the ones you have for road use, and another set for play, really its 20 mins to change the wheels ffs . and saves a fortune with plod inspecting your tyres all week . if your using any tyre off road its going to get damaged eventually , well enough to attract a few points

So for an offroad wheel set would you chose 15" or 16" diameter ?

That lrc90 guy nottingham on eBay has loads of sets of steel modular rims in various diameters ...

And that's a good run to collect some for me

Mine are a set of 4 but again yes one is damaged. Mine are 30/9.50/15 and I recon it will be easy enough to find another.

I wanted to use good offset steel rims and a bigger tyre. Cost of the wheels/tyre package was much better than buying new tyres and sticking them my old rims or other steels I have.
