key problem

hi all,
got a pig of a 52 reg terrano messing me about! key doesnt work on fob and if you open it with key in lock the alarm goes off. tested the batterey in fob and is ok. i guess a new key is needed?
any ideas? cost? (ouch) thanks james

give me the older terranos any day!

You can get the fobs on eBay

Mines been like this for a year lol, managed to get the alarm to stay off tho

yes easy to do, just make sure the hz on the new fob are the same as your old one (think most are 433 but could be wrong, can't remember numbers) then just program it as per workshop downloads, Rick

works a treat!! i had to get the fobs off 5 scrappers before i found 1 that would code! i couldnt tell the hz though because the stickers were worn. (mine is a p reg). still not sorted the other one out yet
