Key Fob

Picked up a cheap 2nd hand key fob on fleaby, do you think the programming sequence for the Terrano in the download section will work for a Patrol.
Also can anyone tell me what the blue button is for as my current fob opens and locks with the red button.
I thought it might be to deadlock the doors but nothing appears to happen when i press the blue button.

Don't know about the programming. Is the Blue button to unlock the tailgate only?

... is intended to deactivate the internal "radar" - so that you can lock the car with a dog ect inside. While you go into the pub...

that's interesting, i have a two button fob and one of the buttons seems to do nothing, now i know!
