My micro switches on my fobs are wearing down,got replacement switches has anyone changed them yet.:nenau
 
ive been looking at the bits from ebay. but not got any yet, does look fiddly though
 
a few days ago i bought the complete fob for £4.98 from ebay and it arrived i programmed it in 20 secs, so atm i'm buying another 2 so i can have spares in the caravan under the jeep and at friends for emergency.

may be a siilly question,
does the new key fob have to be the same Mhz as the one you already have,if you programme the new one to the new frequency will the old one stop working?

Need to be same,


but fitting new micro switch batterys and covers took me 30 mins,.. to do both sets. and was £22.50 from ebay for the bits..

thought they needed to be,just wanted to make sure,
just thought of another one,will the old key still work the locks and ignition

should do..

i just changed the switches and covers. dead easy if you got a small soldering iron
