Hi Trophymick, have you noticed a definite improvement in m.p.g and power?

The improvement is minimal but noticeable.
The engine does breath better, and it sounds better.

I've stopped monitoring my MPG, but folks that do report a slight increase
of a couple of MPG.

The main thing is they are fit and forget, and less prone to damp
like a paper filter.:thumbs

Bought at the right price, they are a cost effective alternative.

K&N's give a much better throttle response aswell as a few more BHP but have gained a couple MPG on both of the Terrano's & other motors i've fitted K&N's to

changed mine today and it looks like even if it is open ended or closed it doesnt matter as one side is pushed hard against the non opening end of filter casing, making a seal. as long as it is cylindrical it is okay, the other type are flat ones.

hi lazy ferret is yours still for sale for £25? if so will it fit a r reg LWB Terrano, 2.7 TDi?

thanks
