:!: halfords just quoted me £61 for k/n air filter with an air ducting kit? could any of you guys tell me if its worth the expence, is there any difference in power. luv to know. andeone. :|

You can get them cheaper on ebay  With an induction kit you will poss find the engine is more throuty sounding which some peeps don't like, plus you stand a higher chance of sucking in water if you do go off road or hit a very large puddle on the road a bit quick  You can pick up a K&N panel filter which will fit into the standard air box for about £35 on ebay
The plus side to K&N filters is that you won't have to by another filter just give it a clean after about 40000 miles. In cars i've found I got a slightly better MPG & a faster throttle response

Bought my air filter direct from K&N they were one off the cheapest at that time

i gave my mav a full service last sat and put the new filter(normal paper) in to it yesterday as it had its mot and i can definatly notice a reduction in power  so as soon as i clean my old k&n it'll be gong back i the mav!

Very keen to go for a K&N filter having had them fitted to previous cars. If searching one out for the Terrano what do I need to know which filter is suitable. Do I just stae it's a R20? or just that it's 2.7tdi?

Thanks
