I have just been offered a sealey 150 welder with almost full bottle of gas and a reactor mask. It has only been used a couple of times. I can have a look at it 2mos.
I know what they fetch brand new but not sure what I should be paying for one second hand so any idea's please folk?

What size is the bottle? if only a throw away one then not worth more than a fiver, if a big one then you register with the bottle supplier in order to refill it, about £65 a bottle plus yearly hire charge, welder itself used £50 to £80 depending on condition look for good wire feed without to much pressure on the roller, any breaks in the welding line protective cover, condition of the weld handle, does the switch operate easily or does it kill your trigger finger, and be ware auto helmets they switch on and off very quick so if welding scabby stuff you will find yourself welding with intermittent vision, Rick
