Hi everyone.... My name is Dave and I'm a terrano-holic.....

After joining this fantastic group, picking the brains of several seasoned veterans of the forum and deciding which vehicle would suit my needs best, then a couple of weeks (feels more like a lifetime) of searching, today I have finally been and bought a 2005 - LWB - 2.7 Manual terrano 2 !!

Admittedly it's the first one I have physically been to see, but I did some research, used the new MOT history web site - https://mot-history.net to great effect (checking for the dreaded tin worm) and then steering well clear of many, many, many nice looking cars, we've finally bought one.

I would attach a few pics of the new beast if only I could work out how!!!

I'm chuffed, thanks to all who had some input, gave sage advice and steered this newbie in the right direction....

Pics need to be hosted online somewhere, like Flickr or Imgur. You can then use the picture url.
2005 is a good vintage, imo. LWB is particularly fine too.
Enjoy, they're great little cars and mine brings a smile to my face whenever I drive it.

I've attached a picture as a test??

to the right of the smilies you will see a paper clip hit that then select your pic, you can only load one at a time and they need to be about 100 kb no larger, I do it by taking the pics for the forum in the lowest resolution on the camera, then pop the chip into the lappy, easy, but others prefer to upload to photo bucket or similar and provide a link, Rick

Guess you can't see the pic? Funnily it's showing on my iPad ?

Ah, I've seen the other posts now, hit paper clip, that's a pain in the rear.... I'll get myself sorted with an online account and link them up....:lol

Looks good to me, a fine looking vehicle...:thumb2
Spoilspot.... :D The fall out of the lost photo can be quite amusing.... sometimes
The photo's fine Dave.
Looks like a cracking motor. :thumb2

It looks cleaner on the pictures than it is in real life, which is about the same for them all I guess, however it's solid enough from what I have seen, the heater blower works on number 4 only, and yes I've seen the download on fixing that, it's had a replacement windscreen and the rear view mirror was broken when removing from the old screen, hence no rear view mirror, if anyone has one up for grabs please PM me.... Similarly with the resistor module for the heater...

Other than that the spare tyre is buggered and flat, so in need of a tyre suitable for a spare.... Otherwise, for a 10 year old bus I'm chuffed to bits....:clap

do you have the bit that sticks to the screen if so I have a mirror but getting the bit off the screen invariably bu**ers them, Rick

I could be wrong but thought someone on here got one from the stealers and it was not dear, but memory is not good, Rick

Yes I have the black clip on the screen, I assume it's the right clip? If I took a picture of it would you know if it was the right one??

Just been out and took these, not sure if you can get an idea from them?
