Hi Gang

I did ask this question a while back but have lost the thread......

I have a Terrano 2 2.4 petrol on an M plate. I need to replace the rad and water pump, but want to make sure i get the right parts.

Poor baby froze the rad when it was sat at Luton airport in -15 for best part of a week (Note to self...don't trust pre-mixed antifreeze again)

Any pointers gratefully received

The problem with premix, you need to remove all the old antifreeze otherwise it will be diluted.
When you flush the system you can get 1/2 of the fluid out, so 5 litres of concentrated antifreeze goes in of this will then give a 50% mix, good for -39C

Not sure what Rad you need, sorry.

You have the KA24E engine, I do have a rad but although it is water tight some of the fins have corroded away, they are copper the waterways are brass, I do not have a water pump, Rick

Thanks for the heads up guys.
Local motor factor can do a rad at a very reasonable price, i'll just keep it topped up until it arrives.

Snowing like crazy here at the moment, so I may have to do it later
