I'm back! Used to be a member a few years ago in a cracking 2001 Nissan Terrano, that got chopped for a ford fiesta via a Nissan X-trail, and more recently a Hyundai Tucson, nice car but borderline for towing the caravan. As we're now just a one car family (complicated reasons, as always) then we've decided to go for one decent car between us, and we're picking up a 57 reg pathfinder diesel auto Aventura on Wednesday.
Good to be back in the club, I'll part with my £10 soon enough but won't be taking it greenlaning sadly:nenau

Hey welcome back, I remember wasn't it a silver motor with a roof rack on your avatar?

Jim

hey pal,

welcome back,

swb silver, did some derbyshire lanes with you back in the cameraman
era!

had a mk2 lwb t2 then, since had a patrol and now much happier with
a mk4 lwb t2.

I'm sure that pathy can do some lanes, houndkirk etc, we have another
member with one and it certainly gets about.

ask bat21, admin, i'm sure you can have your old user name back if you
like.

Yeah even went on the smae Derbyshire trips, be I've got photo's somewhere. Back in the days before I took up being a hairdresser and stopped off roading, well that's what a work mate calls me because I wont come out to play anymore LOL.

Jim

PS yeah get your old name back.

Yes, that's me. The Terrano went back in 2008, the wife had bought an X-trail and we couldn't justify two 4wd's. I let my membership lapse because it was just too much of a soft roader.
The Pathy on the other hand is going to be our only car, and Joanne has a regular 70 mile commute to do, so we need to keep it in good nick. Not saying it won't get dirty, but not to the same extent as the old Terrano did.
I'd have a Terrano tommorrow if it was up to me, but got to admit I fell in love with the Pathy as soon as I saw it.

Oh the pristine thing will soon change:rolleyes: you'll get the call of the rocky roads of Derbyshire and stretch to a toy Terrano before you know it:thumbs and if not at least you'll add to the banter on here.:clap

Jim

I need to get the medical all clear to drive first Jim, hopefully by March time. And even then I'll have a restricted licence of 1 to 3 years, not sure a toy Terrano would be the thing, but let's wait and see first!:thumbs
