It wont start! and its cooold.

Hi all,were shall i start my mistral has been running fine up to a couple of days ago when it started to play up. 1st its gained a fuel air lock problem wich should be fine once the offending pipe or clip is found.now its very slow on the starter and wont even fire at all! am i correct in saying that the starter is up the creek as i have just put a brand new 780 ampccr battery on and it flattens it vertualty straight away. I have checked all conections and earth seems to be fine. Is a new starter likely to be exspensive......

what does it start like when you jump off another car

It wont jump of my van and i also got a 400 amp starter/charger and it wont alter the the speed of the starter either.Totaly charged the battery last night in the warm so battry was fully charged....

tried checking all connections and cleaned them ?
lives, earth straps. etc

Hi all thanks for advise! All happy now shes up and running after having new starter and glow plugs fitted all for the reasonable sum of £220 inc. Didnt think this was to bad for all Bosch Parts...What do you think....
