Isolator Switch - where should I stick it!?

That is an interesting idea. At a starting price of £22 on eBay for the setup with just one remote or £26 ISH for two then the remote switch could well be an option. Although it seemingly would have to be used on the negative cable as they all seem to specify.
 
Surely isolating negative isn’t a bad thing to do? After all when you disconnect battery you start by disconnecting the earth?

The ones I saw were about £65 mark - danger of realy cheap ones lies in the quality of the contacts in the switch. I personally would look for a decent brand with some good product feedback / reviews.

The better ones come with some wiring included.
 
Been on an under dash hunt for the IMMU central locking device.
Found it but not what or where expected. Turned out to be on the opposite side of the steering column and is a 5wk4785 with a frequency of 418 MHz

I think the ones on top of the fuse box are fitted from the 2000 onwards.

Ah, is that the one with the cylindrical collar that slides onto the barrel? That's the transponder receiver isn't it?
