Cheese wire is nothing, what about the humungous spikes on tractors for picking up monster bales :D
As with all these mods, inform your insurance company :thumbs

But not only are they travelling considerably slower than most cars, but by law, when on the road, they are only supposed to travel with them either less than 8 inches off of the ground, or raised and pointing down towards the ground, so if they got into an accident, it would be easy to prove fault. The farm I worked on was very strict about that, and the same applied to the pallet forks on the Climax and Manatu as well.

I think there may be some "special" tractor drivers round these parts then :lol
They're also far from slow

It looks hideous:eek: like someones just boshed a random winch on as a after thought, Pete's is much nicer looking:thumb2

Of course, you can stick 'em on regardless; But you're buggered if you have a prang with 'em on, even if the damage is at the back, unless you declare them to your insurance company, and we know how much insurers love modified vehicles.

They certainly do love modified vehicles :lol

Once I had a lad come to my door pleading with me to swap his dogs bo11ocks alloy wheels for my tatty looking bashed about budget steel wheels. I thought he was mad and told him " on yr bike son"

It turns out he had pranged his Nova and the the insurance assessor was comming out to see it .......... he forgot that he hadn't declared the wheels until hours before the assessor was due to arrive. :doh

He even offered to just buy my wheels for £100 each :eek::eek::eek:

Eventually I felt sorry for him and agreed to a swap. :augie

A few weeks later I curbed my near side alloys and it cost me about £450 to buy 2 new ones and a new tyre.:doh:banghead

A fasttrac & some of the big new holland will do 50mph:thumb2
Fasttrac's and big modern tractors have really good brakes, put you through the screen type good brakes, tractors that I have driven go into four wheel drive when braking too.
