bearing in mind that this will be the first " proper " mot sally has had since i bought her ... and the dubious nature of the previous mot .... is these things likely to need replacing ? ....... and are they cheap ?

Atrocious grammar and spelling, wouldn't go near them with a barge pole.
But yes they are about 25% cheaper than other places.
If there's nothing wrong with yours there's no point changing them, but if you think they're shot it'll be worth doing. How much does your garage charge for a pre-mot check ?

Treat your mot and subsequent free retest as an extended diagnostic session

I'm lucky with my local mot tester, If anything needs doing he doesn't mind waiting over 2weeks or so while I do the work needed and will retest it for free.
