Is the Patrol a part time 4x4 same as the Terrano. or what?? :|

yes mate, exactly the same, part time shift on fly with auto hubs.
only extra is the locking rear diff, very good they are too!

you still going for this x reg? more than willing to come and have
a look at it with ya? :?:

Yes I am looking at three of em today 8O when my wife returns from work.
Thanks for the offer of co pilot but we haven't a clue where we will end up by the end of the day......I will keep you all informed.

If successful the Terrano will be up for sale. :(

A bit of an update.....Ist Patrol sold
2nd one bit of a drive to get to, didn't like the look of it, didn't like the feel of the engine and interior very rough....so turned that one down.
May try to see the third over the next few days...but they are obviously like finding hens teeth.

i have a 2000 x patrol and i love it.

only complaints are:

headlamp washers are hopeless, the way they flap around aimlessly nissan might as well have attached a couple of halibut.

fuel economy is horrrrrrrific. but hey, a 1.0litre clio aint half as much fun.

get yerself under the NSR and check the connection between the anti roll bar and stabiliser release device (which replaces drop link on 3.0 model) and make sure theres no excessive play. it's an mot failure and very expensive (see my other post).

I have been all around looking at 4x4s in general, several Patrols [when you get underneath oil leaks everywhere and generally shabby  .......even looking at Range Rover and Discovery's and I think that I will keep my Terrano, I know it's foibles, just have to sell my Mondeo so when the right vehicle comes around I have a better bargaining tool with the cash.
