Iv'e owned a few FC101 landies. They are pretty much totally different to other landies and share very few component. Originally built as gun tractors for the military only, they are very strong and also very agricultural. The soft top GS versions were much lighter and had a decent turn of speed acceleration wise but were always going to be hampered for top speed by low gearing.

The engine is the Rover V8 and the box the old 4 speed Rangie with a special shorter bell housing and input shaft.

Yeah it looks OK.But i think the current bid is most likely to be the fuel bill for the year.But i suppose if you wanted it,then fuel cost won't be a issue.
