Hopefully not speaking too soon but intermittent problem that was happening in the severe cold seems to have sorted itself. Have had T2 out a few times since weather improved and no sign of problem showing up. Didn't get around to putting in diesel injector cleaner yet (it's still in the can but wil do it in next few days) or bleeding the fuel filter (next few days maybe as well) so it may have been the diesel I was using not liking too much cold.
