Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrggggghhhhhhh !!!!!!

Immobiliser is doing my head in !!!!!

Nissan have had a look, can't find anything wrong, can't turn immobiliser off. Best idea they have had is to try a new key and have it coded. £130 !

I am running out of ideas. Can't afford to spend much more on it. Don't really want to get rid of it.

If anyone has got ANY ideas I would LOVE to hear them. Especially if anyone knows hw to bypass/trick/DESTROY the immobiliser.

HEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP !!!

£130 quid for a key is what VAG charge for a new key with remote door locking. They also do a simple no frills programmed key for ~£30. Might be worth asking Nissan if they do such a thing?

Having said that, my 10 cents worth worth is that the IMMO fault is more likely to be a bad/corroded/loose connection somewhere in the chain.
Check the earth bonds are all good too. You have nothing to loose other than a couple of hours of your time.

As a rule the electronic parts are generally quite reliable, and faults of an intermittent nature are less likely than total failure.
