Volvos are lovely, a local family has a red 240 Torslanda Estate......OHH YES PLEASE!!:naughty. Anyway, there Swedish:doh
They "WERE" Swedish... until Ford took them over and ruined the company... The last Volvo's were made around 1998, after that, Ford were having a major say in what was going into them, and cutting corners.

Now they are just a glorified Mondeo, with a higher price. There is no such thing as Volvo reliability any more. I am on a Volvo Forum, and it is so sad to see people leaving the marque wholesale, as Ford have totally ruined it.

The only happy Volvo owners are the ones with the old cars, if they can afford to put petrol in them.

Thought I was the only one with this 'phobia' LOL.
I even took the bulb out of the boot light as it stays on for 30 secs (seems like forever! At least my Astra fades the int. light once the ign. is on, or after about 10 secs.
Don't like the light from from an unshielded sun roof either, because of the reflections in my (anti-glare!) glasses.

Snap, I hate it when that is open too however no matter how tight I make the screws when fully closed mine rattles like a skeleton
