Hi All
My Interior lights are staying on. Is this a problem with the interior light timer if so where do I find it.

Arthur

Check that it is not your switch, it's a 3 posisition switch (off on and doors). My kids often play with my switch, just a thought to check that's all.

Interior light problem

Hi All
I had taken the interior light fuse out as the rear interior light as no switch to it so this afternoon I put the fuse back and give it another go for what ever reason it’s work as normal again? Thanks for all your advice.

Arthur

I too have problems with interior lights, but in my case the light above the seats comes on when I accelerate and turn right away from junctions , also the back door light flickers on when traveling on rough ground. Is this two seperate problems or one, do you think?
John

I would say it's the same problem & it stems from the back door switch as the boot light is playing up

My mrs sees nothing wrong with slamming the back door..........hard enough to make the whole vehicle move!

Try adjusting the door stopper so that the door closes tighter.
Often the stopper gets out of alignment with the constant slamming

Yes the door at the rear must be slammed so that the the driver hits his head on the front window -banghead-

Have adjusted the door latch thing, but there wasn't much room for adjustment. What is the small bracket for just below it?
John

The top loop adjuster needs to be loosened off and push forward towards the driver then tightened, this should pull the door closed tight.

The bottom is the door height adjuster I think.

Thanks for the help. The adjustment appears to have worked, as the lights have not come on since. However I now have something that sounds like a canary tweeting at the back. I think it is the door rubbers actually making contact for once. I'll give them a rub over with Armoral or some such plastic/rubber cleaner.
