funny this, I'm going through the same dilemma. I'm looking to downsize to a smaller 4x4, but one that gives me better consumption, lower insurance and tax and a bit more modern.

Problem is, I love my Terrano and its infinitely reliable and versatile. Value wise, yup, there isn't really much in them, so I don't see selling it as a way to fund a new car, so may end up keeping it...!

I sold one of mine to get a more economical motor and yes I felt the benefit but I just missed the thing so much I got another.
It's ok to say get another and keep the terrano but then you have 2 sets of mot, tax and insurance to worry about unless you sorn it offroad which kind of defies the point of keeping it.
To do that sort of milage a week would cost me around 80 -100 quid In my terrano.
Only you can decide which way you are going to go mate .Don't change who you are because of what you drive :thumb2
