After mucking about with the various pipes and stuff yesterday, I degreased the whole engine today, then took it for a blast to see if I could trace the leak. No leak. Intermittent white smoke from the exhaust though, especially when going over bumps. Odd.

still sounds like wrong oil to me, but if you have eliminated that then it can't be :nenau

checked the container again today, it's actually 15/40 - pretty thick stuff. I'll take it for a longer run tomorrow to see if I can make it leak but I think I might have cleared a blockage somewhere when I was fiddling with the pipe. I put the dipstick all the way down the sump breather pipe and it felt clear. :nenau

Just lost a sale because of the pressure coming from the oil filler. Can anyone suggest a remedy please.
