Ideally Alex and exosteve etc what are you paying for insurance a year for ya modified t2s

I say these guys as mine I heavily modded like thiers as I've been with same company ten years and its always crept up so thinking of a change

This years premium is £429 fully comp with mods so is this about right or shall I shop about

Done a few price comparisons but don't work as suspension mods option is have you lowered etc and I know any slight discrepancy and they get ya over a barrel

So any help much appreciated

Get a quote from adrian flux, I'm with them and you usually find modded 4x4 is just as cheap as standard.

They will also match quotes.

I've only got a handful of mods, but more mods doesn't really mean more costly. I'm 26 with about 7yr ncb and pay 280 fully comp but I do live in a low crime area (plus this includes all the extras like windscreen cover, legal cover, courtesy car, Drive other insured cars with third party cover etc).

Also their breakdown cover is only like 45 pound when you get your insurance with them.

Take it!!!! I'm quite modded and pay £900 and I'm 24 living in a fairly OK postcode with Adrian Flux

Yup, i'm 26 and paying about 750ish

I say take it.

Worth ringing above though, nearly went with them but time was of the essence :lol

I'm 36 12 years ni claims I don't use it to commute to work! I live in middle of no where on a farm down a 2 mile track so will try them and see

You should be able to get a better deal at that age and NCB.

Like I said I asked AF to match my cheapest quote I got and they did. I guess they wanted to keep me.

They are really going hard after the 4x4 drivers at the moment, the amount of 4x4 specific AF adverts I see is unreal, just flick through a few Land Rover magazines and you'll see

mines a standard vehicle 9+ncb just over £200, with the price hike you guys are paying for the mods I'm happy to stay nice and standard, side steps and all

I love your mod list in your sig...... it's extensive :naughty :lol

AF with my reputation :sly and a huge mod list about 240 quid I seem to remember :thumb2
It would be more with side steps though :lol:lol

I'm happy I'm standard! 2005 plate 3.0Di, no mods, 9+ NCB, protected NCB, fully comp., 5000 mile policy, £220.

Woo-hoo !!:thumb2

Still better than mine:augie no mods & i'm 40 this year, 13 years NCD fully comp with my wife on as a learner & I got stung £500 but my post code is quite a bad one got a quote for my parents address just a mile up the road & it was £200 cheaper:eek::doh

No point having 13 years ncd. Use some of them on a new policy for the Mrs :D

Got them protected never had so many no claims:lol Got a couple of quotes the other month for just the missus to be insured on the truck as the only driver (I had a driving licence scare due to medical grounds which would have meant me off the road for good) & fully as a learner it came back at £800-900 which I didn't think was to bad considering the T2 is a group 26-27 insurance bracket now
