instrument panel, anyone interested??

Made this up at work to house my boost gauge, want to ad in a volt meter and maybe another gauge seen as i put three holes in! Anyone interested in one ill do them for £20 plus postage.

Fair enough just stole the idea from our vauxhall:augie you could even do a gearbox temp if you tow a lot

Main reason i have the troll is for towing so that may be a good one! probably be able to make the sensor fit in the gearbox drain plug save drilling and tapping the gearbox! My tyres get warm towing but that could be my driving style :sly

Thanks mate I try my best hate bodge jobs!! its perfect place for gauges as you can run wires and pipes into it straight from under the dash!! its only down side its a little low down!

I hate bodged stuff to....my thought are do it yourself, so you know its done right

Sometimes you have to, just to get you on your way again! im an engineer and most of the time go over board but it suits me i have to do a proper job it might just take a bit longer

Thats why i bought the troll instead of a landrover!!! i think ive still done just as much welding as i did on the disco though!! never mind it makes me practice my welding and grinding skills

Just the aluminium panel im afraid!! all the gauges are cheap enough on fleabay not sure ive seen outside temp one before but i think you will be able to get one. Outside temp is handy to have and i want it now :thumbs

No worries mate, the one for the troll has a recess that sits inside the pocket which works well, send me a pic of the pocket so ill be able to get a better idea.

Yeah no worries, its where their used to be a clock mounted, but, the LCD went all weird lol, theirs no recess so the plate will probably stick out a bit, unles you could smooth the sides like you did with the one pictured
