injection pumps TD25Ti

hi there i read a lot about people using 2.5 pumps on 2.7 blocks but do they fit the other way?

i have 2.5 engine (2000) with a nacked pump but my 2.7 (1996) has a working pump and nacked block, injectors are the same?

if any one knows please help other wise im going to try it and see what happens.

im fairly sure it will fit. 2.5 is a d22? will be cable. 2.7 pump is it a cable? if so should be straight forward
let us know how you get on (after the swearing!)
