After reading that post never rang Nissan and got an auto electrical/locksmith guy turning up some time this afternoon.

Hopefully all will be sorted!

so are you now fixed and running? my guy is not coming till 10.30 tomorrow. Rick

Guy turned up at 21:30 couldn't get his machine to work was talking about having to go to main Stealers... Was gertting worried... Then the old "let me try one more thing"

Hey presto had the key reprogrammed to immobiliser and all working.

Thanks for help and advice guys.

Will be on here from now on as looking at doing some mods etc :)

:thumbs:thumbs

that is a good price, please send him down here, two guys eventually arrived today and after an hour decided they did not have the right connecting lead for a Nissan so hopefully will come back Thursday, and tried to blame the lack of crank position sensor for the non starting, I did tell them that it was running with the sensor disconnected but don't think the believed me, just as well it is not my road going motor, Rick

Mine is a V plate 99 and he tried to get it working with the Terrano II program but couldn't get it to connect, then he tried with the Terrano I and it worked fine and reprogrammed in about 20 seconds lol.

On a side note... Had it fully serviced today and its now running like a dream. Was running a bit sluggish etc.
