Non in Edinburgh either but the horrible rain the other day made a nice water feature in my passenger foot well when I turned the ignition on, seems the heater likes to collect it and then pour it through once it's started. :doh

I spent an hour or so yesterday pulling off the wipers and the scuttle panel to get to the heater access panel that lurks beneath on the passenger side. Took me ages to get the screws to come out, especially the bottom left one and then I gunked it all up with sealant before putting everything back.

Fingers crossed I'll have a dry foot well during the next downpour.

Seems this panel is a common cause of water ingress to the passengers feet.

I'll need 2 wait till another downpour 2 to find out if it was the hole in the wing that was causing it or something else *groans

mine did that too, it made a splashing sound then shot water out inder the dash :doh

a while back when i replaced the scuttle, the plates looked like they have been sealed up befor, i thought nothing of it:doh
