Why not just change the barrel for used one with key

You still need the key turn in the Ignitioneven with a push buton switch

drill the broken bit of key with a 1mm drill and extract it, then buy a new key or as cncfabs says get a new or used barrel with key you just need to keep the chip from your old key, do not try and start it unless the plastic part of the key is near the barrel, three failed attempts and you will be locked out, Rick

if you are going to change the barrel then you can drill it with a larger drill and insert a self tapping screw then start/stop with a screwdriver, to get you out of trouble short term, Rick

Plus i was thinking aslong as i strap the key to the sensor i could wire up the ignition to a switch and go push button start? Im sure thats how some of the rally cars do it and then put in a heavy duty isolator to kill power when not in use?

Could be wrong though?

Is it for a terrano 1?? or do they all fit? How much would you wnt delivered to chesterfield??

no do not do it that way as the "brain" will have to re learn each time you start, Rick
