ignition barrel

can anyone tell me how to remove the key lock bit from the barrel please.

i think it a unit and you need to cut the 2 bolts holding it on the shaft.

thought it would be like other cars where you turn the ignition on then press a pin in and it releases

Think it fastens around the steering column with sheer bolts so itll be a bugger to remove.

never tried, the electric switch is held with two small screws from the rear, so I guess you may have access to such a pin once it is removed, assuming you want to change the barrel, Rick

they actually chisel out quite easily, Rick
