Hope this isn't off topic.

Is there any way I can identify the exact model and year of manufature of my Mistral R20?

It's not a UK vehicle and the details off the chassis plate are:

Y-R20
R20-402846

B08775 CK7 K
TVPURPAR20TDA

Thanks in advance
Andy

you could try this.

pull out your ash tray

turn over

as you see mine has a lable with date of USE..

also teh small round clock like thing shows when the ASH tray was made.

im guessing theyll not have them hanging about for ages..

Right oh.

Sticker has gone although there is a nice shiny label shaped residue there.
Was manufacture 3/94 so I'll take a guess the car is a 94 or 95

Andy

id say 94. not going to have bits hanging about to long.

OK, got the log book tonight but it is in Greek.

Says first registered 1/10/95 and manufacured 1/1/95 (I think!!) so I guess it was made during 1994.

A good start......

Now I need to get a few parts to get everything working properly and get rid of the radio/cassette for a radio/cd player.

Thanks for the 'heads up'

Not much really, I need some new washer nozzles, offside rear lens (cracked) and some bulbs for the instrument panel.

I live in Harrow, so not a million miles from Barnet, although I'm in Cyprus at the moment (quick break).

have a search for a member cncfab. he has a few bits most of the time. darwin for bulbs / leds..

ive not been in barner for over 20 years.. ( yes IAM that old )

so is it raining in Cyprus then?

Well,
We had thunder and lightning on Thursday but it was great on Friday and all weekend.
I'm back on Tuesday so I won't see the Mistral again until August. Still, it gives me plenty of time to get the bits together and something to do whilst the wife is sunbathing when we come back.

Do you know if there is a radio/cd palyer that will connect straight into the existing loom without me having to 'hack' the connectors?

Barnet is still a great place.
The students at Barnet college have made a big thing of painting patterns on all the chewing gum stuck to the pavement. I'm up there reasonably often as my accountants are on Wood Street.

Andy

ooh right, so what do you do then??

swoping radio / cd player is simple. even I did it!! so got to be. need the right ISO lead for the car make and model. ebay or halfords if you got cash to burn!

LOL my kids have dont that to the drips of paint on the utility room floor!

What do I do?
Well, if I'm honest, as little as possible, but then I am getting on a bit.
I'm in I.T. but my role is not 'hands on' so tinkering with cars lets me get my hands dirty. That and tending my allotment!!
