I went fishing today

Sat by the lake for 8 hours in the rain and caught 1 fish :doh

and somehow got mega sunburn on my face :nenau

I might try again tomorrow if it ever stops raining

I went fishing today on the River Clyde caught loads of salmon smolts but no brownies.

I have got all the gear and no idea, Brought fly rod, reel, lines etc. I got as far as putting the backing on the reel. that was a few months ago :doh

I was pike and carp fishing last weekend, stayed overnight on the friday night. My bed was pretty comfy

Yep, its a full size bivvy bed. mega comfy, sets up just right in the terrano where its nice and dry, no wind and no noise

My friends were in a tent and said the noise from traffic on the road behind us kept them awake most of the night. I hardly heard a thing due to the soundproofing in the car

we have been down to Cornwall for a week , I normally go to a place called Dynamite quay (Hayle) chuck a float i or a bomb in and wait for the tide to rise.
went down to check it out and found access denied all chained gates and the beach closed to public .
apparently some firm are removing sand off the beach for re sale.
also claimed there is asbestos down there so got footpath to the beach closed.
