.................. and Daveluck now has his very own little finger detector.

Glad it's worked out for you Dave, I've yet to delve into some of the heavier engine work and the dark art of welding.

:thumb2:thumb2

I have and incredibly sore, swollen, blood filled, pulsing, plasma leaking, nail lifting little finger!!!

I said to the Mrs through the puke and the pain, " Well, I might as well of laid my hand out on the workbench and asked you to hit it with the club hammer". Her response was and I kid you not " Stop! Hammer time!". A bloody weird and dark sense of humour.

I think it's funny now mind...

Lol!!!

You most certainly can not touch this!!:D:D

One of the funniest things I've seen was when Chris Evans interviewed mc 🔨 while wearing gold trousers and jumping up and down on a sofa every now and again to Hammer Time.

The 🔨 was not impressed. He had a new album and had moved on to gritty urban pusher chic image.

That was also the peak of Chris Evans career as far as I'm concerned....

Brilliant result fixing the truck I really felt for you last night when I read your post. Almost feel for you now with the injury:doh I'm sure you'll be recovering in a couple of days but keep an eye on the finger and don't think twice about getting medical help if it needs it.

I was wincing reading this, but so glad you got there...

My Power steering pump has always made a noise, and 46K miles on from getting the car, it still does... I changed the belt at some point, but it made no difference, although pouring a bit of water on the belt when the engine is running does stop it for a couple of mins...
