Was killing time in PC world and saw some combined Sat Nav & Dash Cams the one on display had some sort of magnetic fixing so it was easily detached and re-attached in the right position.

They looked a pretty good idea with some having auto saving if you have a crash etc.

I have one of those in my works van.
The mount is suckered onto the windscreen then the sat nav magnetically attaches to the mount.
Good bit of kit and we occasionally update the maps too
