hope this is in the right section....
hello, went to see a friend today and to my horror i only made it half way up his track 8O ,looked at the marks on ground where wheels were spinning and it seems only the back wheels were driving although i was in 4l,now when i reversed back down and got on the level i selected 4wd and drove forwards but did not hear the front hubs engage nor did they click out when i reversed so i have looked through the forums and it sounds like the snap rings have gone (think that`s what you call them) so even though i have the mechanical skills of a snail i think i wil try to do them myself so can anyone tell me where i can purchase said items or should i just get manual hub units and be done with it.
thank you,
paul.

hi,thanks for the quick reply,i read both of them and fitting the manual locking hubs looks easiest to me  so any idea where they can be purchased from...i have searched online but drawn a blank, seem to be all for landy`s that i can find.
thank you.

hey thanks, just ordered some, hopefuly that`ll sort my problem out.
paul.

you have made the right choice, once the auto hubs start playing up, (IMHO) the best place for them is the bin!

hehehe, that`s where these will be going once the new ones arrive.

dont be tempted to keep them you are never going to want them once the manulas are on! and if you do there are two sets in my shed

Nice looking truck you got there devs, what you got planned for it??

first the manual hubs and grizzly claws then some sort of body lift and after that i`ll just see what`s about..dont wanna bling it up if you know what i mean but just want a truck that will cope with most things.oh and a tuning box but that depends on the mrs and what she has planned for the savings this month
thanks,
paul.

If your going for a body lift I would have a chat with HB if you are going to do it yourself as he will be able to tell you what you'll need as he did is about 5 month ago

hummingbird mate hes got a petrol one hes lifted and tinkered with likes getting it muddy lol!

hey no worries,i am sure i will get the hang of it all shortly
