Although still new to this i know from my track days that certain tracks were so called "car killers"
Personally i think its bullshit & its down to incompetent drivers that brake there vehicle & then blame the venue when it is in fact them to blame & giving the venue a bad name for no reason

Ive done several lanes in Wales & ooppp North :lol with the rep of breaking 4x4's & its crap.
& i have also done pay'n'play days in Essex & Kent that are labeled KILLERS & again bullshit.
It is simply down to common sense :thumbs

Hi Adz
If you are going to one of the TOR weekends then i will join you for the weekend www.totaloffroadlive.co.uk if not i will join you for the day.
I would recommend you try and attend one of these weekends as there is all sorts of entertainment on and last year we had over 200 cars attend.

Kirton is a site that has different terrain's for every car shiny or hard core about 60% of the site is accessible to non modified cars on road tyres. The good thing about Kirton is there is no set route so if you do come across a obstacle you don't like the look of you just find a different route.
Yes KIRTON can be a car breaker but only if you go hard core and don't watch what you are doing.
I have been going to Kirton for 3 years now and i have only broke one drive shaft ( driver error) and i have dented my sills in the rocks But i do like playing in the rocks.

had a chat with the lads i know that go up to k.o.r.c and they would highly reccomend this site to everyone.
as its been said in previous posts there is something for everyone.
not sure if i will still have a 4x4 as i'm feeling the pinch at the moment so i'm selling mine shortly and getting a sensible car:augie
but would love to tag along anyway.
