Ive got to say it,

what no pics??

My old 51 plate new shape SWB T2, with PIAA Spot Lights, private plates, A Bar, FSH, all the toys and 62k on the clock..... £2,500 PX - and that was 12 months ago!!!! :nenau

Problem at the mo is dealers dont want them sitting on their forecourts.... too much to run, too much to tax!

Pull off the A bar, bumper protector and light guards if you want to get the most you can, dealers won't give you much extra at all for those, so sell em privately.

I paid £2k for a 2001 with 84k last september (before the credit crunch really crunched), I'd say you'll be doing well if they offer you £1500. But of course it all depends what you're looking to buy. On a new patrol you might get £2k but against a few years newer T2 its unlikely.

Why not see what they offer you then stick a couple of hundred on top for a quick sale (and flog off the extras as terra suggests)....its bunce after all. Might find you get a better deal on the replacement anyway; part-ex is always a PITA for the dealer.

yeah suppose,

am after a.............................L200

forget getting a new car!!!!!!!!!!

the bloke offered me £500 trade in, LOL. so gonna keep it and run it in to the ground.

am now thinking of going for an off-road look from it, only problem is the torsions are at the limit and the front ain't very high?

Just pop the adjusters off the torsion bars turn em 3 or 4 splines and put em back on. you'll then have lots more adjustment to go at.

is it as easy as that? or is it quite involved doing that?
