I thought I'd post this up so people could put some pictures here and discuss.

I've just fetched a set of Cooper Discoverer STT's in 33 12.50 15, I've got a 2" body lift and slightly tweaked torsion at the front.

What cutting do I need to do?

Think you'll need a 2" suspension lift as well to get them on & it'll reduce some of the cutting/hammering

When you do this, can you do a tutorial, and add all the details, like the exact spec of the wheels offset, or spacers used?

I keep going back and forward through old threads, but working out the actual wheel offset for any given tyre size is a nightmare.

I have 33 12.50 15 tyres on 8j zero offset rims with 30 mm spacers.

Depends on the offset of the rims you are getting with regards to what you will need to trim.
Et-32 will need a lot,Et 0 not as much.
Might need to get the proper 2" lift springs for the rear and re index the torsions to get a bit more lift.

I might need help with that as one of my torsion bars is seized solid!!!!
I'll have to get some springs ordered then

Defo, I have both and still even after adz cutting me and jake had to hammer the hell out of it.even now on heavy smashes at front it bangs

Boys

I've been searching and for the life of me can't find any pictures of your motors to see in detail how you've cut your wheel arches and stuff out to fit the 33's

Can someone please link me to some photo's of theirs, it would be massively appreciated, I want to know I'm doing this right first time round

I'm not sure I actually did "cutting" pics as it was a bit obvious I thought :augie
Front wing cut back to the first bolt hole that fixes it to the sill.
Then with Mr Hammer attend to the inner sill flange :naughty I like banging the flange :lol
Some tyres labelled as 33" are not , others are more, so it is a bit tweak as you go :thumb2
My first 33s were Kumho ones and I managed them on just a susp lift :D
My wheels are only 8.5 J and I'm running 10.5" wide. Offset I think is -28 and allows plenty of travel up my slot
Please don't go spacers , just find the right wheel in the first place. I know many have them and many are fine but I just see them as another un necessary link in the chain :question

As Pete says trim the bottom of the front wing, I had to cut to just before the second bolt.
I also had to grind off the seam on the inner wing and re weld it back together.
Will sort you some pics out in the daylight :thumb2

There was Pic's on a post Alex did about the trimming he had to do
