how do you adjust tickover on a t2

yes, the picture you put up shows the idle adjustment screw, however you need to work out if you have mechanical injection or electronic injection.
you wont have both of these adjustments as the screw adjusts the mechanical idle whilst the accel position sensor is for electronic.
is there a plastic clip on the top of pedal holding the cable for accel position, maybe it has unclipped or come away slightly. the adjustment looks to be rotating the entire assly around so as to take up the slack in the accel cable. i would guess there ar 2 bolts holding the body on and it can be rotated either way for adj. when loosened.

hi pretty sure mine are mechanical injectors as their is no wires running to the injectors!! think it was the maverick with electronic injectors!! im probaly wrong:(yes its a plasitic clip holding the cable to the peddal like on a bike brake lever! and it got to a plastic arm to the sensor which is held with a nut in the center!! their is a bit of slack on the cable!! should their be:confused:so if i undo the nut:eek: i can ajust the slack on the cable?.....this wont bugger up anything els electrical on the fueling system!!!!!
