Easy 31 x10.5 15
30, 31, 32..37 = Height of the tyre in inches

10.5 12.5 = width of tyre in inches

15, 16 = rim diameter

I have no idea what these sizes you are talking about are?

I thought all tyres have the width in mm the diameter of the rim in inches and the aspect ratio is a percentage of the sidewall aspect ratio.

So a 195/70 R 15 is a 15 inch diameter rim fitment and the tyre contact width is 195 millimeters 70% aspect ratio means the tread height is 70% of the tyre width.

Prior to low profile tyres they were all 90 % aspect ratio so old tyre sizes never show this figure.
