prep is everthing, loosening the bolts with wd40 etc days before. checking kit
is correct and all parts needed ready.

bumpers will need new brackets fabricating, brake lines near bulkhead have some
slack in them in form of coiled pipes. steering column will need adjustment, fuel
filler will need extending....for starters...

nice.. but id better leave it

ive a lwb, needed for towing the caravan, id have to drop the towhitch down again so id not gain any thing.

oh well

It would'nt cause you any probs Zippy as you are just lifting the body shell up not the chassis which the tow bar bolts onto:thumb2

body lift as said would not effect chassis and towbar, however the new air in the arches
which would be likely fill by bigger rubber would mean their large diameters would have
an over driving effect on gearing, also slow down the over fast speedo to approaching
genuine speed. since most would go to around 33s max this would correct speedo, but
depending on weight o f van might cause the gears esp. first to be too high as reducing
all ratios by about 10%. then of course could add power box to increase torque to try
to reduce the effect.

suppose since max weight towable by t2 is much higher than a 'van, say 2800kg goes
down to 2500 approx way more than even 100% let alone 85% of kerb of truck.

right then thats me sold, break out the spanners.....

my caravans a baby.. 1241kg.. even if it is a 5 berth.. some times i forget its there ( sorry officer ) :)
