....if I drilled a hole through this inner wing brace thingy for an air intake from a snorkel, bearing in mind I know this is a pic of the wrong side but it's the only one I have :thumb2

Not 100% sure what you mean, but if you mean a "Big" hole for the actual air pipe to go through, then yes...

Here's mine..

Engine side.

Surround to tidy up and cover painted edges.

Are you able to take a look at Craig's truck

He's shown it to me before Jim (ooer), I'm researching and learning as much as I can before I start cutting stuff up, I like the look of Clives though, the shiny pipe with black hose looks well 'ard :lol

I remember the days when Doug would give the V sign and dive straight in for a water wash

I SWEAR it did it good that, and we all learned how tough the 2.7 is, I bet a 3ltr wouldn't survive it :nenau and most importantly we had a right good laugh :lol but I would still like to be able to drive through a puddle without being attatched to the back of barrbeast's truck :lol:lol

Great afternoon that!

3.0 would probably be okay but harder to get the water out as you can't get at the glow without removing intercooler and throttle body plus the glowplugs pass through the top of the rocker cover so you'd probably get water in the oil and need to change the oil :doh

Another victory for the 2.7 boys then!!!! Does seem to be the most reliable engine overall :naughty
