Hi All, well at long last I've been able to investigate my horn not working. This all stems from some numpty garage changing my starter motor in December.
I've checked the fuse - OK
Checked the Horn - OK
Checked for power to the horn wires - No
Checked the Relay - It doesn't Click
Removed Relay and tested connections for power when horn is pressed - Nothing
This is now pointing towards the horn press, my reasoning behind this is besides the above tests the garage took the steering shaft UJ apart to remove the starter.
I can't prove the horn was working before even though I'm pretty sure it was and also there is the problem of the coolant leak. The guy didn't want to know back in December so he isn't going to want to know now.
So my problem, has anyone had anything to do with removing the centre of the steering wheel. In there there's a little bomb isn't there. I'm pretty sure that if the battery is disconnected it should be safe but I've got some common sense. I'd really appreciate a little advice on how to sort this out.
