Horn doesn't sound with alarm

My 2001 terrano 2 2.7tdi has an alarm problem.
The horn doesn't sound when I activate the alarm. I ran the test sequence, windows open etc, and the alarm works the hazard lights, but no horn.
The horn works from the steering wheel.
Is that a fuse?

Mine has two seperate horns, the alarm one is at the drivers side rear somewhere. Sorry can't tell you exactly where though as I have never tracked it down.

The alarm horn is apparently behind the trim piece on the drivers side boot area. Mine doesn't work either, but not got around to fixing it in 3 years of ownership.

The horn on my 2001tdi does not work either perhaps a common fault?? hopefully someone has a better answer

Mine did not work, got a new horn from local motorist shop, took drivers side panel off in boot, 1 bolt and 2 wires off old horn, new horn fitted, job done, took about 10 minuets. The terminals on the old horn had broke. Cost me about £6 for a new horn.

whilst were on the alarm, where is the receiver for the remote control. dont have a problem just nosey! :lol:

My horn on my alarm works!!!..lol think there are two separate horns,when my alarm goes off the horn sounds from underneath in the middle of the truck!!
My vibration censor is very sensitive though!! :?

Aha! Another horn! Thanks chaps, I'l have a poke around and let you know what I find, spiders, dust, fungi, etc.
