Hitachi MAF

WANTED one Hitachi MAF thing please.
Mine is playing up and I was quoted £400 today in Ford:doh
Just need the electronic plug in bit:augie
Had a trip to the scrapyard but no joy there.
Could I fit the newer Bosch one instead?:nenau

Oh yes cleaned it a few times now
The two little elements are squeaky clean. I've used carb cleaner and switch cleaner, both do the shiney bit but no joy with the actual brrm brrm:nenau

I bought one on ebay for £25, mine was working ok but as they are rare I got it as a spare.

Mine came off a maverick and its been on my terrano for over a year, I clean it every six months, you could do with trying another one just in case the fault is elsewhere.

ps check the number on the maff before you buy. If you look through the posts some one bought one and it didnt work on theirs, maybe they still have it.....
