Hitachi MAF??

Hi all, I've had my MAF Condemned and i can't get hold of a replacement.

I'm told my Maverick is a 1997 2.7TDi

Ford say the part is no longer serviced, and i'm really struggling to locate one on the www. it doesn't help that i'm not sure what i'm looking for??

is there a Nissan equivalent machine i can price a part off, or does anyone know the Nissan Part no/ for the hitachi MAF?

For what its worth, asides from the physical differences; the Hitachi MAF's are generally brown I believe, and the Bosch MAF's are black.

Just called them, they have one there, will post today, I'll have it tomorrow, a real gentleman!

Thanks a million for the tip off. Well chuffed, unfortunately no abs sensor but I'm halfway there very quickly!

Odd, both the Hitachis I've got are black, but then they are facelifts....
